How we caught so many fish the nets broke: I argued with the Maker of the lake about where the fish live. He got into my ship and asked me to thrust out a little from the land. Then He sat down and taught the people from my boat. My boat was a pulpit before I knew it. When He finished, He said: Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. I told Him the truth: we had toiled all night and taken nothing. But I said, at thy word I will let down the net. The net filled with a great multitude of fishes. It brake. We beckoned to our partners, and both ships filled so that they began to sink. I fell at His knees and said, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord. He said, Fear not: from henceforth thou shalt catch men. We forsook all and followed Him. The night's empty work was the qualification... Obedience was the catch
