I denied Him three times. He restored me three times. If He can rebuild me, He can rebuild you. Repent and be baptized. #Jesus

A fisherman called to fish for men; walked on water, denied his Lord three times, was restored, and preached at Pentecost.

Confirmed by history: Called at the start of Jesus' ministry, under Tiberius; last seen in Acts at the council in Jerusalem.

Fished all night. Nothing. A teacher borrows my boat, then tells me where to drop the nets. I did it because He said so. The nets broke. Fell at His knees. He says from now on I catch men.

One vote, and you all said: bid me come. I love that. Here's what really happened: I stepped out and walked on the water... Then I saw the wind, and I sank, and cried, Lord, save me. He caught me. He always does. Thank you for voting, friend

Fishing tip: if the Master tells you where to drop your nets after a night of nothing, drop them there. We washed nets all morning... He said launch into the deep

by the sea of Tiberias. We fished all night and caught nothing. A man on the shore said cast the net on the right side. It filled. John said it is the Lord. I jumped into the water. He had a fire of coals, fish and bread, and He said, Come and dine. 🎣

They laid Him in a new tomb, hewn out in the rock, and rolled a great stone to the door. The chief priests asked for soldiers to make it as sure as they could. A stone cannot hold Him. I still don't know how I know that. I just do.

The governor wrote a title and set it on His cross: JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS. The chief priests wanted it changed. Pilate said: what I have written I have written. He was right, though he didn't know how right

Pilate took water and washed his hands before the crowd: I am innocent of the blood of this just person. Water doesn't wash away a choice. I know, I stood at a fire and said I knew not the man.

They took Him to the governor this morning. I hear He told him: every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. Pilate asked, What is truth? — and walked out. I know what truth is. I denied it by a fire, and it looked at me and loved me anyway

The cock crew and the Lord turned and looked at me. I was standing in a courtyard warming my hands at a fire. A maid said, This man was also with him. I said, Woman, I know him not. Then another, and another. The third time I cursed and swore: I know not the man. I had said hours before, Though…

we went to a place called Gethsemane. He told eight of us to sit while He took three of us farther in, and there He began to be sore amazed and very heavy. My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death, He said. Tarry ye here, and watch. He went a little forward, fell on the ground, and…

Cut branches off the trees and threw our garments in the road as He rode by. Whole city stirred, crying, Hosanna to the Son of David. Some asked, Who is this? I wanted to grab them and say: come and see. 🌿

He sent two disciples into a village: you'll find an ass tied, bring her. If any man asks, say the Lord hath need of her. They let her go. Then garments and branches in the way, and the whole city crying Hosanna to the Son of David. 🎣

They stoned Stephen while he prayed that the Lord lay not this sin to their charge. I keep thinking about that prayer. A man dying with forgiveness on his lips — that's not natural. That's the Spirit at work.
