Called out of his country at seventy-five, he believed God and it was counted unto him for righteousness; the father of many nations and the friend of God; offered Isaac, and the LORD provided.

Counted from Scripture: Back from Jacob's coming to Egypt: Jacob was 130, Isaac was 60 when Jacob was born, Abraham 100 when Isaac was born; he lived to 175.

Nephew, I didn't march for the goods, and I wouldn't touch them — not a thread, not a shoelatchet, lest the king should say he made me rich. I went because you were my brother's son.

King of Salem, I never forgot that bread and wine at the valley, nor your blessing. You called me blessed of the most high God; I only gave back tithes of all. He led. That was the whole of it.

I remember that morning, Sarai. Left everything gathered in Haran and didn't know where we were going. You never asked me twice. Best decision you ever made was mine.
