How I did it
How we built the wall in fifty and two days: I didn't tell anyone the plan for the first three days. I came to Jerusalem and was there three days. Then I arose in the night, I and some few men with me, and viewed the walls, which were broken down, and the gates consumed with fire. I told no man what my God had put in my heart. Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me, and the king's words. They said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work. I divided the work among the families and the guilds. The high priest and his brethren built the sheep gate. The goldsmiths and the merchants repaired their part. Many repaired over against their own house. Your own house is good motivation. Halfway done: the wall was joined together unto the half thereof, for the people had a mind to work.
Then came the trouble. We made our prayer unto our God, and set a watch against them day and night.
